With so many children entering the care system there is very little support focused on the families of the children in care. Families often feel scrutinised, under pressure and at fault. There is a significant need that during this time there is support available that is professional, competent, outcome focused, empathetic and reliable.
We are confident that with the correct support for families, and by working with local authorities we can limit the amount of children that remain in care. Children should be able to return home when this is the best outcome. This is often delayed or hindered due to the family not receiving the help they need. We also offer support to families when a decision has been made for the child to remain in care with areas such as contact rights, court directions, education, identity etc.
