Sahara Family Advice is a Non-Profit Community Interest Company (CIC) run solely by its founders. It was formed with a vision to provide a professional and affordable service to communities. However, there are unfortunately unavoidable costs. We have focused on minimising these costs as much as possible as we wish to make our service accessible to all. Our service is priced reasonably at the fraction of the cost usually charged by other organisations and professionals. Our services are charged at a standard rate of £45 per hour. Services: £45 per hour

We offer a FREE consultation to all our clients. We use this opportunity to understand your situation and assess the support we can offer you. If you continue to use our services following the initial consultation we charge for advice sessions per hour.

• Support in having contact with your child

• Pre-Meeting Report service for child in care/LAC reviews and other professional meetings

• Communicating with professionals such as social workers, child guardians, CAFCAS, advocates, independent professionals

• Helping you understand assessments and processes including specific support for parenting assessments, SGO and Connected Person Assessments

• Guidance around your rights and decisions relating to your child's life

• Professional Statement Writing for Court or Local Authority submission

• Resources and Information for your specific case including self-help guides, reading, and relevant materials

• Form filling, telephone calls, home visits, and application services

• Flexible Online and Face to Face support options

Sahara Family Advice offers a range of training courses to support parents and relatives improve their skills and knowledge in specific areas. Often the courts and professionals want to see what efforts you have made to learn about the issues your dealing with and what steps your taking to make yourself a better parent or carer for the child in question. Some of the training we offer includes:

At Sahara Family Advice we believe in making a genuine difference. Therefore along with training courses, we have introduced a unique TRAINING REFLECTION RECORD service.

The Training Reflection Record is a report written by a qualified social worker which details the learning and reflection you have evidenced during the training course. This is then followed by a Social Worker analysis. This report can be utilised in court to evidence the specific learning and reflection you have undertaken. This service is used mainly for our fundamental courses.
